Israel Kills Three Palestinians in Gaza City, Increases West Bank Raids

Israeli forces have withdrawn from the Netzarim Corridor, a militarized zone that had divided Gaza, in line with phase one of the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas. Despite the ongoing ceasefire, Israeli troops continue to open fire in eastern Gaza City, killing at least three Palestinians today.

West Bank Raids Intensify

In the occupied West Bank, Israeli forces have expanded their military operations. During a raid on the Nur Shams refugee camp, an eight-month-pregnant woman was killed.

Ceasefire Exchange Continues

On Saturday, Israel and Hamas completed their fifth prisoner exchange under the ceasefire deal. The exchange saw three Israeli captives released in return for 183 Palestinian detainees. At least seven of the released prisoners required immediate hospitalization.

Casualty Updates in Gaza and Israel

According to Gaza’s Health Ministry, the war has resulted in:

  • 48,189 confirmed deaths
  • 111,640 wounded

The Government Media Office reports a higher estimate, stating that 61,709 people are now presumed dead, including thousands previously missing under the rubble.

In Israel, at least 1,139 people were killed during the October 7, 2023, attacks, with more than 200 taken captive by Hamas.

The situation remains volatile, with ongoing ceasefire negotiations and continued violence in Gaza and the West Bank.
