Delhi Election Heats Up Modi Kejriwal and Kharge Go Head-to-Head in Fierce Campaign Clash!

With just three days left before Delhi’s assembly election on February 5, the city was buzzing with non-stop political activity as the top three parties—BJP, AAP, and Congress—poured all their energy into their campaigns. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Delhi’s Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, and Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge were all in the spotlight, taking shots at one another as the heat of the election grew more intense.

The race for the 70-seat Delhi assembly is a tough one, with AAP, BJP, and Congress all pushing hard to win. The campaigning wraps up on Monday evening, with vote counting set for February 8.

On Sunday, the BJP took to the streets in full force, holding a massive 80 rallies across Delhi. Union ministers like Rajnath Singh and Chirag Paswan, along with five BJP chief ministers, were out campaigning, criticizing the ruling AAP. In a rally at RK Puram, Modi slammed AAP for making empty promises and being involved in corruption. He claimed that AAP had ruined Delhi for the past 11 years and promised a new government focused on development and growth. Modi later posted on X, saying, “Delhiites trust the BJP because we deliver on our promises,” adding that the overwhelming crowd at the RK Puram rally proved that the BJP is on track to win.

Arvind Kejriwal, on the other hand, fired back at the BJP, accusing them of “hooliganism” ahead of the election. He claimed that BJP workers were threatening and even assaulting AAP supporters, particularly in the New Delhi constituency, where Kejriwal is up against BJP’s Parvesh Verma and Congress’ Sandeep Dikshit. Kejriwal said, “They’re trying to scare us with threats and attacks, but we won’t be intimidated. Delhi won’t stand for these tactics.” He also launched a new social media campaign called #AmitShahKiGoondagardi, sharing videos and posts from AAP leaders to expose the alleged bullying by the BJP.

Meanwhile, Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge joined the fray with a strong attack on both Modi and Kejriwal. At a rally in Mustafabad, he called Modi the “chief of liars” and accused Kejriwal of being his “baap” (father) in the art of deceit. Kharge went on to say that Kejriwal had misled Anna Hazare and the public with false promises, using corruption as a way to gain power. He didn’t hold back when criticizing Modi either, pointing out unfulfilled promises to farmers and the lack of employment opportunities. Kharge said both Modi and Kejriwal were equally guilty of lying to the public for their own gain.

The political drama in Delhi is reaching its peak, with each party trying to win over voters in these final days before the election. It’s clear that this race is far from over, and everyone is gearing up for what promises to be a close and heated battle.
