Fatehpur, Uttar Pradesh – A serious railway accident occurred early Tuesday morning when two goods trains collided near Pambhipur in Uttar Pradesh’s Fatehpur district, leading to derailments and disruption of train services in the area.

Collision Details

The accident took place around 8 AM when a moving freight train crashed into a stationary goods train on a track managed by Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India Limited (DFCCIL). The impact was severe, causing the guard’s compartment and the engine of the stationary train to derail and plunge into a roadside gorge.

Injuries and Medical Assistance

Two railway officials, Anuj Raj (28) and Shiv Shankar Yadav (35), sustained minor injuries in the crash. They were taken to the Community Health Centre (CHC) for first aid and were later discharged.

Train Services Disrupted
