A family is taking legal action against Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas, claiming that a faulty revolving door led to the tragic death of 78-year-old Diana Truschke.
According to the lawsuit, filed on March 18 in Clark County District Court, Truschke was seriously injured in March 2023 when a malfunctioning revolving door at the hotel suddenly sped up behind her, knocking her forward onto her face. The impact was severe enough to send her to the hospital, where she underwent extensive medical treatment.
Her condition never fully improved, and over the next several months, her health continued to decline. On October 14, 2024, Truschke passed away due to complications from the injuries she sustained that day.

The lawsuit alleges that the hotel knew the door wasn’t working properly and failed to fix it or meet safety regulations. Now, her family is seeking damages to cover medical bills, funeral expenses, and compensation for the pain and suffering Truschke endured.
Trump International Hotel, located on Fashion Show Drive, is managed by the Trump Organization, now run by Donald Trump’s sons, Donald Jr. and Eric Trump. Neither they nor the hotel have commented publicly on the lawsuit yet.
