One person has died and four others were injured after a Bombardier Learjet 35A crashed into a Gulfstream 200 at Scottsdale Airport. The accident occurred around 2:45 p.m. local time when the Learjet, arriving from Austin, Texas, veered off Runway 21 upon landing.
According to initial reports, the Learjet’s left main landing gear failed, causing it to collide with the parked Gulfstream, which was on private property.
Casualties and Response
One person died on impact, according to authorities. Emergency crews worked into the evening to recover the victim’s remains. Two individuals are in critical condition and were transported to local trauma centers, while another was hospitalized with less severe injuries. A fourth person declined treatment.

Jet Pros, the operator of the Gulfstream, confirmed that no one was aboard their parked aircraft at the time of impact.
